Kepler's 1st LawJohannes Kepler was a German astronomer, mathematician, and astrologer. He lived from 1571 to 1630. He was most known for his laws of planetary motion. He also wrote books. His work provided the foundation for Newton's theory of universal gravitation. Later in his life he became an assistant to the astronomer Tycho Brahe.
